Name: Flyleaf
Members:
Bio: Out of the small, quiet town of Temple, Texas emerges a rock band that is about to take the world by storm. Fronted by Lacey Mosley, FLYLEAF is comprised of members James Culpepper on drums, Sameer Bhattacharya and Jared Hartmann on guitar, and Pat Seals rounding out their sound on bass. Not just your average angry rockers, this fresh and innovative group cites influences such as Rage Against the Machine, Incubus, Nirvana and Foo Fighters. FLYLEAF is a hybrid of both the music of their influences and a sound crafted by their own personal passions. FLYLEAFS music is probably best described by Lacey herself. Our music is passionate and on purpose. Its angry and sad and urgent and loving. Its about our experiences and passions and how we have overcome. Our message is to encourage the hopeless people to have hope, and the apathetic people to stand up in their destinies and purposes and believe in something good and world changing. FLYLEAFS music is filled with pathos and optimism all in one breath. When watching this band perform, its hard to see how one could not be inspired. Since forming the band, they have played every major city in Texas and have headlined for thousands of fans in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and of course, their hometown of Temple. Theyve also opened for national acts such as Evanescence, Bowling For Soup, Riddlin Kids, and Flickerstick. Flyleaf just finished up dates with Trust Company and the Family Picnic Tour, and Saliva and Earshot! They just wrapped up a successful tour with Breaking Benjamin and are lining up tour plans for 2005.

Name: June
Members: Tim Brennan: Vocals, Guitar
Mark Palacz: Guitar
AJ Brown: Bass, Backing Vocals
Mark Sutor: Drums
Bio: Chicago, Illinois, the windy city. It may be the most competitive indie and punk scene in the Midwest unleashing some of the best bands of the last few decades. Although a band is meant to be a collective effort, it is rare that you find a group of guys writing music based on their individual influences as opposed to what's selling this week. One might question what a band that listens to such a wide variety as The Blood Brothers and Nelly Mckay might sound like... rightfully so. The answer? Probably not a midpoint between the two at all.
June, Mark Sutor, Tim Brennan, Mark Palacz, and AJ Brown basically started the band as a joke, says Sutor, and realized we had a pretty good thing going. After recording an early four-song demo and playing around the local Chicago scene and effectively building a loyal following, this joke began to catch on. The band independently released The June EP in mid-summer of 2004. Soon after, the band signed with Chicagos Victory Records. Having people we work with that share the same vision as us is an awesome situation, having those same people be in Chicago is amazing, says Sutor.
Junes new music is reminiscent of Chicagos scene while portraying more down to earth interests. The band is a delicate balance between a power pop collaboration combining melodic guitar hooks and vocal harmonies and a rock band lyrically straying away from typical avenues. With a very active year ahead of them and a debut full length produced by Brian Mcternan(Thrice, Hot Water Music) dueout on Victory records in summer, theyre coming to a town near you to sleep on your floor. The band will be keeping a relentless touring schedule and they have no plans of slowing it down after 2005. Although the average age in the band is 20 and some of the boys liquor licenses are newly acquired, they are happy to report that none have become full-time alcoholics yet. Dont worry gentlemen. Youll get there.

Name: Kittie
Members: Morgan Lander-guitar/vocals
Mercedes Lander-drums
Tara McLeod-guitar
Trish Doan-bass
Bio: Kittie was founded in 1996 by sisters Mercedes and Morgan Lander when they were barely on the cusp of adolescence. Now at the ages of 21 and 23, they are accomplished musicians, writers and well seasoned veterans of the industry.
They were just 15 and 17 years of age when their first C.D., Spit, was released on NG/Artemis records. Spit was quickly Certified Gold and to date, they have sold well over 1,250,000 units worldwide with 3 Albums and 2 EPs under their belts.
Kittie have toured extensively, played with such notables as Slipknot and Pantera, co-headlined Second Stage at Ozzfest, co-headlined Snowcore, performed on the Conan OBrien and Later Shows and hosted MTVs Head Bangers Ball.
Kittie have performed at major European Festivals such as; Dynamo, Hultsfred, Rock-Am-ring, Rock-Im-Park and headlined Second Stage at European Ozzfest. They have also played the Beast Feast Fest in Japan, toured Australia, Mexico and have been featured in numerous magazines such as Metal Edge, Spin, Alternative Press, Revolver, Rolling Stone, Rhythm, News Week, Washington Post, Melody Maker, Metal Maniacs, Metal Hammer, Kerrang, Daily Telegraph, etc.
Kittie have managed to stand out and be noticed in the very competitive world of Metal. Their incisive brand of music has definitely taken them into uncharted territory. Never before have an all female heavy metal band impacted on such a male dominated genre. Every time they step on stage they make history.
The ladies are now poised to strike at history again with new music that expresses quantum leaps in evolution and a fresh and very talented new lineup:
Tara Mcleod (22), brings with her from popular South Western Ontario Band Sherry, scorching guitar solos and riffs that only serve to make Metals Truest Divas unattainably peerless. Trish Doan (21), previously in London all girl band Her, is the final dynamic element in Kitties bold presence. Her powerful presentation on bass adds unprecedented clarity and weight to the bottom end.
The fortuitous melding of all these ladies gifts has birthed a dazzling presence and stunning stage performance. It is as it always should have beena united, awe inspiring juggernaut forging indelible melodies born upon gale force metal backdrops.
What started out as a group of little girls in a basement nearly a decade ago has become a massive indomitable force. Kittie have had brushes with greatness and near misses with extinction but have never surrendered.
Metal Edge has named Kittie one of the Top Ten Bands to Watch in 2006. You can put money on that one! Kittie are back with a vengeance and they know where you live!

Name: Kottonmouth Kings
Members: D-Loc - vocals
Johnny Richter - vocals
Brad "Daddy" X - vocals
DJ Bobby B - turntables
Pakelika - dancing visual assassin
Lou Dog - drums
Taxman - anti hero
Bio: An Underground revolution… against all odds and logic and always against the grain the Kottonmouth Kings continue to release ground breaking albums on their own label Suburban Noize Records. With soundscan numbers in the millions and packed houses across the country, Kottonmouth Kings have been laying the foundation of one of today’s most radical music movements in America and beyond. Combining mind-bending sonics, fusing Hip Hop, Punk Rock, and soul-flavored classics, The Kings have innovated and pioneered their own sound that has set them apart from the pack. In a day and age of fast food consumerism, The Kings have proved their lasting staying power redefining the meaning of a self empowered group. They are an institution in the sub-culture of America, running their own clothing company and label that hosts 24 other acts
For most hip-hop acts, being in the game for over a decade is reason enough to feel content. But for Southern California's own Kottonmouth Kings, blending rap and punk rock styles is only the beginning of the story. Releasing ten albums over the past nine years, the Kottonmouth Kings are more than a seven-man hip-hop crew. Kottonmouth Kings “Koast to Koast” their 8th studio full-length release, is due out June 6th on Suburban Noize Records.
KMK is at the epicenter of a constantly growing movement - a subculture of sorts - that brings thousands of fans from all walks of life together for exciting live shows and incredible music that extends further to albums by the 10 to 15 other artists on their highly successful independent label, Suburban Noize Records. "It's an open-minded, loyal fan base," said emcee-producer Brad "Daddy" X, who founded the Kottonmouth Kings in 1994. "They range from people who love hip-hop to punk rock to stoners to hippies to young kids to old kids to girls. It's a diverse, eclectic mix of people, which is what's so beautiful about it. That's further proof that the Kottonmouth Kings break down barriers between people. There are all types of people at a Kottonmouth Kings show, from hippies, punkers, and hip-hoppers. That's what's great about it. You can't really stereotype it. They're just free-thinking individuals."
The Kottonmouth Kings have been working non-stop since the release of Kottonmouth Kings “Kottonmouth Kings” in May 2005. "Every time we do a new album, it's fun to go on tour," Brad X said. "We add new songs to the set and try to take the show to another level. What excites me about it is getting back to the people and bringing the music live to the people that support it and love it and keep us doing this. Kottonmouth Kings is a different breed than everyone else. That's what makes it unique and special. It's a new beginning in a lot of ways and it's a liberating time for our camp. We're able to work at our own pace, make our own decisions and just run with it. It's been an amazing experience cultivating this following. When this is all said and done, the Kottonmouth Kings will live on in the underground for years and years and years to come. So fans who like us now, their kids will be listening to us someday."

Members: Mike Herrera - Vocals/Bass
Tom Wisniewski - Guitar
Yuri Ruley - Drums
Bio: Something had to change, says MxPx vocalist/bassist and chief songwriter Mike Herrera about where the band found itself after 13 years, three labels, six albums and a career retrospective DVD/CD. We were either going to slowly die or do something extraordinary, dig deeper than we ever have before.
MxPxs Panic is their first new studio album since 2003s Before Everything and After and their initial all-new effort for SideOneDummy following last years B Movie/AC/EP DVD/CD collection.
Its a glimpse at a world nearing critical mass, but with a renewed energy and hope for not only the future of music, but for our generation.
With Panic, MxPx seized the opportunity to simultaneously sum up what they were all about and forge into the future with a second wind and a newfound maturity.
